Artifetus is a glass globe with a projected pulsing red liquid that creates a silhouette of a baby. An unplugged power cord leads the viewer around to the back of the piece where the silhouette of the baby is revealed to be nothing more than microwave and computer parts. The robotic looking fetus speaks about nature and artifice and is juxtaposing nature and science and how closely related they have become.
